IFA Berlin 2020 is almost here. The Internationalle Funkaustellung is Europe’s largest consumer electronic show that gathers the crême-de-la-crême of the tech business as the world’s largest manufacturers unroll for an exclusive audience the best gadgets and trends in technology for 2021. Unlike the Consumer Electronics Expo and other tech meetings that usually take place at the beginning of the year, IFA Berlin traditionally holds its meeting on this season and it focuses on the next year, as manufacturing companies have had the time to experiment, tinker, and react to consumer trends. This 2020 edition marks a new style in the German conference as it is now held in one big convention center to a very distinct 4000-people audience, as the IFA organizers had to cater to the mandates from the city of Berlin as it tackled the Covid-19 pandemic.
The latest development in the countdown of IFA is the release of another teaser trailer that showcases what’s in store for this year’s largest European consumer electronics show. The event will begin by featuring Qualcomm’s CEO Cristiano Amon talking about the future of 5G.
Chinese-military-owned network and consumer electronics manufacturer Huawei will also make a big presentation in IFA Berlin as Walter Ji, president of Huawei Consumer Business Group will showcase the heavily sanctioned company’s vision for its massive customer base in the Old Continent.
