IFA Berlin 2020, the Internationalle Funkaustellung is Europe’s biggest consumer electronics show and here at Gizmo Write-Ups, we have access to the IFA Xtended Space, a virtual showroom that allows access to on-demand content of what’s going on in this prestigious tech expo that will set the trends from all major manufacturer brands across the world.
We begin our virtual tour by logging to the link directly sent from the organizers directly to our email, where a browser window opens up to connect us with IFA Xtended Space, a virtual lobby through which we can move using our arrow keys and mouse. The first thing that gets your attention is three pillars showcasing two robotic vacuum cleaner by Roborock. When clicked, it takes you to a virtual showroom that features products by the manufacturer and it showcases a three-minute video in English and German about their new smart vacuum cleaners.
IoT is present and sets the tone for what the manufacturers of consumer electronics have in store for us. Presented in their virtual showroom Roborock showcased the S6 Pure, S5 Max and S6 Max as their main smart cleaners line. Roborock also showcased the H6 handheld vacuum. We present you with the ads.
Thanks to the beauty and magic of capitalism, if these gadgets attract your attention, you can get them at Amazon.
That’s not all that IFA has to offer as there are scores of keynotes and presentations taking place simultaneously, after taking a look at Roborock’s product line for 2020, we went to the LG showroom, only stopping at the lobby to see the fourth teaser that gives us an idea of what’s ahead for the attendees of this prestigious tech expo: Artificial Intelligence, augmented reality, future mobility, 5G, 8K, Internet of Things and Digital Health.
One of the keynotes that caught our attention was LG’s press conference, which we will cover extensively in another post following up on this one. The look and feel of the virtual conference are very well-designed, sleek, and modern, the ability to stream on-demand the myriad of conferences as well as taking a look at the gadgets with stunning videos and great descriptions is one of the main attractions of this year’s IFA expo. Back in the main lobby, the virtual walk takes us to the menu of options that we can explore in this fantastic modality of virtual exposition.
IFA’s vast exhibition room is full of options and if you’re not sure where to start, just pick one randomly as we did, we began our tour by watching the French Tech pavilion that puts attendees in contact with the crême-de-la-crême of French Startups, who have a strong presence in this meeting as they showcase their innovations for next year. Please keep checking our coverage of IFA on our website as we will cover Qualcomm and LG up next.
