Xiaomi launched its Mi TV 4A Horizon Edition series presently and the OnePlus TV’s are most people favourite in the budget segment today lets compare both the TVs and find out with one is better.
Both the Tv have a 1368×768 px resolution LED panel. Mi TV 4A Horizon Edition has vivid Picture technology, which will offer an immersive display and a wider viewing angle. On the other hand, OnePlus have Gamma Engine. Gamma Engine will provide noise reduction, color space mapping, dynamic contrast. Oneplus all supports high color range of DCI-P3 93% with 20% wide color gamut.
Hardware
Both the TVs can deliver good performance when connected to a console because Mi TV Horizon has a quad-core processor with Mali-450 while OnePlus has a Mali470 Triple core coprocessor with 64 bits.
Both the TV has 20 W speaker setup. Where OnePlus supporters Dolby Audio and Mi TV Horizon comes with 20W stereo speakers with DTS-HD surround sound. Both the TV have decent speakers for regular viewing.
Design
Both Mi 4A Horizon Edition and OnePlus 32Y1 has a sleek design with ni bears a resemblance to the rectangular, boxy look on the back. OnePlus 32Y1 Tv with 91.4 per cent screen-to-body ratio. On the other hand, Mi 4A Horizon Edition has negligible bezels around the display and comes with a 93 percent screen-to-body ratio.
Both the Mi 4A Horizon Edition and OnePlus 32Y1 comes with a 3.5mm audio jack to connect an additional speaker and two USB ports. OnePlus 32Y1 comes with two HDMI ports, while Mi 4A Horizon Edition has only one HDMI port. Mi 4A also has an Ethernet port.
Operating System
OnePlus 32Y1 TV comes with Andriod 9.0 operating system, which comes with OnePlus Connect and Google Assistant. On the other hand, the Mi Horizon TV has PatchWall + Android TV 9 operating system. Mi Horizen Tv also has a data saver option, which was also available in previous Mi TVs and a kids mode, which gives different results for a particular keyword. Both the Mi 4A Horizon Edition and OnePlus 32Y1 come with an in-built Chromecast.
The Mi 4A Horizon TV is priced at ₹ 13,999 with is a little higher than its competitor OnePlus 32Y1 which is the price at ₹ 12,999.
Conclusion
Both the TV looks great on the surface, and the specification for both the smart TV is great at the price point OnePlus has the upper hand in the connectivity section. At the same time, Operating System of Mi 4A Horizon TV sounds pretty good. Design for both the TV comes toe to toe, and in the sound, both TV has 20 W speakers where OnePlus have support for Dolby Audio, Mi 4A Horizon has DTS-HD surround sound. OnePlus beats Mi in the Display section because of the high color range of DCI-P3 93% with 20% wide color gamut. However, Mi 4A Horizen has a quad-core processor, and OnePlus 32Y1 has a Triple core coprocessor.
