Our House Ending Explained? What happened to Wendy?
Bram has been on the defensive throughout all four episodes of Our House. He was being blackmailed over the death of a little girl, which put him at the mercy of Toby (Rupert Penry-Jones) and his accomplice Wendy. However, in episode 4, Bram went missing, and everything changed. Toby becomes enraged at the prospect of losing his money. With a forged passport and the details of a £1.7 million bank account. Bram went to great lengths to save his family.
He threatened to harm her children if she didn’t find Bram and the money, so she did. Fi lured Toby over, luring him with the false pretext that Bram was on his way, armed with Bram’s burner phone full of proof. She seized the opportunity to learn more about what had occurred. Toby’s introduction into her life. But she didn’t seem to figure out the finer points, and when Toby called Bram’s phone and discovered it under Fi’s bag, there was a knife ready to use.
Fi used the chance to remind him of her strength as he collapsed to the floor before a scuffle ensued and she bolted to the bathroom. As if she hadn’t already slammed her stiletto into his face. Fi crept out of the bathroom when all was quiet to find Toby dead in a pool of vomit. Merle came back to assist Fi with the clean-up and offered her a convenient alibi.
Fi told the detectives her version of the tale, doing her best to hide the fact that she knew anything at all, but it was evident from the line of inquiry that the cops were skeptical of her narrative. She was adamant that she’d never met “Mike” in her life, which was partially accurate; she believed she had known Toby throughout the entirety of their relationship.
Meanwhile, Bram, who had been hiding out in a motel in an unknown area, went on a walk, utterly unaware that the police were searching for him. Fi returned to Merle’s to visit her sons and appeared to be ready to move on with her life, hopeful that the police would be able to retrieve some of the money that had been unlawfully taken from her and that she would be able to use it to purchase a new home. “A confession and a suicide note” were astonished when the doorbell rang.
Bram told everything, from the car crash fatality to Toby/role Mike’s in their story, and how Fi was completely innocent of fraud, to his bewildered wife. She had been lying to the police about her relationship with Toby, making her the primary suspect in his death. Bram, her husband, inadvertently gave away the game by revealing that she was in a relationship with someone she mistook for “Toby.” Fi can be seen in the back of a police cruiser at the end of Our House, looking longingly at the house she so dearly loved, with any hope of a new beginning fading by the second. This is the actual ending of Our House’s ending explanation.
