Top 8 Fights In World War II You Will Find Funny

World War II is one of the most devastating wars in human history, but some funny stories have come out of that terrible time. From soldiers being afraid of chickens to unexpected reunions between enemies, these funny moments remind us that war isn’t always all doom and gloom.

1) The Battle of the Bulge and the Chicken

One of the most amusing stories of World War II is one of the most famous battles: the Battle of the Bulge. During the battle, an American soldier found himself in a tight spot and was hiding in a ditch with his machine gun. As he tried to figure out his next move, he heard a noise from behind him. He quickly turned around, ready to fire, only to find it was a chicken. The soldier was so startled by the chicken that he shot at it, sending it flying in the air.

The soldier soon realized that he had made a mistake in shooting at the chicken, as he had given away his position. His fellow soldiers laughed at his mistake, and the incident was soon nicknamed “The Battle of the Bulge and the Chicken.”

2) The Cow and the U-Boat

In May of 1941, a German U-Boat was patrolling the waters around the UK. While on their mission, they encountered an unexpected obstacle: a cow. The cow had fallen off a ship and was swimming in the water. The U-Boat crew decided to take the cow aboard as a mascot and named her “U-Cow.”

The U-Boat continued on its mission, but it soon encountered another problem. An Allied destroyer had spotted them and was preparing to attack. The captain of the U-Boat ordered the crew to get rid of the cow, as it would make them an easy target. The crew quickly threw the cow back into the sea, and the U-Boat could escape from the Allied destroyer unscathed.

3) The Battle of the Egg

In April 1945, the British and American forces were advancing on the German troops in the city of Bremen. They encountered a strange sight as they made their way through the city. In the middle of the street, two German soldiers were having a pitched battle using eggs.

The British and American forces watched in amazement as the two German soldiers hurled eggs at each other. The battle ended when one of the soldiers ran out of eggs, and the other soldier declared himself the victor. The British and American forces laughed at the spectacle, and it soon became known as “The Battle of the Egg.”

4) The U-Boat Surrender

In May 1945, a German U-Boat was spotted by Allied forces in the North Atlantic. The Allied forces ordered the U-Boat to surrender, but the U-Boat refused. The Allies then sent a message to the U-Boat, warning them that if they did not surrender, they would be fired upon.

The U-Boat captain responded with a unique request: if the Allies wanted them to surrender, they would need to send them a bottle of gin. The Allies were so amused by the request that they agreed, and soon a bottle of gin was delivered to the U-Boat. The U-Boat then surrendered without firing a single shot.

5) The Battle of Big Bertha

In April 1945, the American forces were advancing on the German city of Essen. They encountered a strange sight as they made their way through the city. A German soldier was standing in the middle of the street, firing a massive gun.

The gun was known as “Big Bertha,” a massive siege gun that the Germans had used to bombard the Allied forces. The American forces were amazed by Big Bertha and nicknamed the German soldier “Big Bertha.” The battle ended when the American forces took control of the city, and “Big Bertha” was taken as a prisoner of war.

6) The Unexpected Reunion

In May 1945, a British soldier fought in the German city of Bremen. As the battle raged on, the soldier encountered an unexpected sight. He spotted a German soldier that he had known from before the war.

The two men were both stunned to see each other and quickly embraced in a hug. They had been close friends before the war, and they were overjoyed to be reunited once again. The British soldier then escorted his friend to the British lines, where he was taken as a prisoner of war.

7) The Battle of the Orange

In April 1945, a British soldier was making his way through the German city of Essen. As he was walking down the street, he encountered a strange sight. A German soldier was standing in the middle of the road, throwing oranges at a British tank.

The British soldier was amazed by sight and quickly joined in the battle. The two men continued to throw oranges at each other until the British tank eventually drove away. The battle was soon nicknamed “The Battle of the Orange,” and it quickly became a legend amongst the British forces.

8) The Battle of the Doughnut
