Since Shibarium launched last August, the Shiba Inu ecosystem has been busy with new projects. One of the most exciting upcoming projects is a play-to-earn (P2E) game called Shiba Eternity. Lucie, who handles marketing for Shiba Inu, shared details about the game and said it’s a big step for both Shibarium and the ecosystem’s tokens, BONE and SHIB.
In Shiba Eternity, players will use cards to have Shiba Inu dogs battle each other, with each card representing different martial arts skills. Lucie showed a video of the game and mentioned that it would be integrated with Shibarium. This integration is expected to change online gaming and ownership in a big way. The lead developer of the game, Angel, also highlighted that this game will be the first to fully use Shibarium.
BONE will be used as the main token for transactions in Shiba Eternity on Shibarium. Every transaction will burn SHIB coins, which could increase the value of SHIB. The game will also feature NFT cards that can be stored in smart wallets and traded on the Shib Marketplace. Each card will be unique, making collecting and trading them exciting.
Shiba Eternity will be available on mobile devices only at first. The Web3 version will be in a closed beta for Shib Army members who have staked LEASH tokens or hold specific NFTs. Players who switch from the Web2 version will get a special welcome package.
The launch of Shiba Eternity is important for the Shiba Inu ecosystem because it could increase demand for BONE and reduce the supply of SHIB through burning. It could also boost network activity and encourage people to stake LEASH tokens. If the game is successful, it could bring significant benefits to Shiba Inu, LEASH, and BONE.
