While neither MSI nor Asrock has revealed which specific motherboards will support the new high-capacity memory, it has been confirmed that MSI’s PRO X670-P WIFI motherboard will offer official support. Asrock’s X670E-Taichi and Z790 Nova WiFi motherboards will also be capable of running 64GB DDR5 per DIMM slot. Other motherboard manufacturers, such as Asus and Gigabyte, are likely to make similar announcements soon, given the availability of the new high-density node from Micron.
