LG boosts Home Cinema Experience with 2024 Soundbar Lineup

LG Electronics has revealed its 2024 soundbar lineup, promising an “boostd home cinema experience” that will transport viewers to a new level of immersive entertainment. The company has always been dedicated to delivering unparalleled audio-visual experiences, and this year’s soundbars are no exception. The new lineup consists of three models – the S95TR, SG10TY, and S70TY – each designed to provide a unique and charming listening experience.

The S95TR is the flagship model, featuring five up-firing channels and a total of 810 watts of output. Its center up-firing speaker is calibrated to provide a seamless audio-visual experience with precise elevation to the TV screen’s level. This allows for a more precise and immersive listening experience, with the sound seemingly coming from the screen itself. Additionally, the S95TR has improved tweeters and a passive radiator, which work together to provide a more detailed and nuanced soundstage.

The SG10TY is designed to integrate seamlessly with LG’s OLED televisions, and features a wireless connection and Wi-Fi connectivity for services like Tidal Connect and Spotify Connect. This allows users to access a wide range of music and audio content without the need for cables. The SG10TY also comes with the full suite of WOW features, including WOW Orchestra and WOW Interface, which provide a more engaging and interactive listening experience.

The S70TY is designed to work in tandem with LG’s QNED televisions, and features a custom bracket that allows it to be mounted on the wall. This provides a sleek and unobtrusive installation, and allows users to focus on the picture without distractions. The S70TY also comes with the AI Room calibration feature, which helps to calibrate the audio of the rear speakers for a more immersive and cinema-like experience.

In addition to the new soundbars, LG is also introducing new speakers and earbuds. The X02 speaker, for example, builds on the omnidirectional sound of the LG XBOOM 360, adding 20-hour battery life, an IP55 rating against dust and water, and 360-degree mood lighting. The T90S earbuds, meanwhile, offer improved Dolby head tracking and “refined” adaptive active noise cancellation. They also support Plug & Wireless, allowing users to connect to non-Bluetooth devices using the charging case as a Bluetooth transmitter.

While LG has not yet announced pricing or availability for the new soundbars and audio equipment, it is clear that the company is committed to providing the best possible audio-visual experience for its customers. With the new soundbars, speakers, and earbuds, LG is offering a range of options for users looking to boost their home entertainment experience. Whether you’re a movie buff, a music lover, or simply looking for a way to enhance your TV watching experience, LG’s 2024 soundbar lineup is sure to impress.
