The Streaming Service That’s Ready for Summer Heat: Peacock’s May 2024 Lineup

As the summer season approaches, streaming services are gearing up to bring forth an array of exciting content to keep viewers entertained. Peacock, NBC’s streaming service, is no exception. In May, Peacock is set to debut a plethora of new and exclusive content, including a limited drama series, films, and live sporting events. This article will go into what’s in store for Peacock subscribers in May 2024 and beyond.

The month kicks off with the premiere of “The Tattooist of Auschwitz,” a Peacock Original series based on the bestselling novel by Heather Morris. The show tells the story of Lale Sokolov, a Slovakian Jew who is forced to tattoo numbers on his fellow prisoners at Auschwitz, and his journey to find love and humanity in the midst of the largest mass murder in human history. The series will consist of six episodes, and viewers can expect a gripping and emotional ride.

On May 3, Peacock will exclusively stream “The American Society of Magical Negroes,” a film that explores the experiences of African American wizards in the wizarding world. Meanwhile, on May 5, the channel will premiere “A Lifelong Love,” a heartwarming Hallmark film about a couple who find love through a series of letters.

Throughout the month, Peacock will also air a range of live sporting events, including the Kentucky Derby on May 3 and the Euros Song Contest 2024 on May 5 and 6. Basketball fans can also look forward to the NBA playoffs, which will be streamed on the service.

In addition to the new content, May 2024 will also see the return of some popular series. On May 11, “Love Undercover,” a Peacock Original series, will premiere its first season with four episodes. The show follows a romance novelist who inadvertently gets caught up in her latest novel’s plot and must navigate the consequences. Other shows returning in May include “The Real Housewives of New Jersey,” “Vanderpump Rules,” and “We Are Lady Parts.”

For film enthusiasts, Peacock will offer a range of titles, including the 2007 Batman film “Why Did I Get Married?” and animated movies like “Puss in Boots: The Last Wish” and “Shrek Forever After.” The service will also stream superhero films like “Wonder Woman” (2017) and “Justice League.”

Peacock will also continue to feature its popular original content, including “Lopez vs. Lopez,” “Fletch,” and “Cold Justice.” The service’s comedy offerings will include shows like “OMG Fashun” and “Chicago Fire.”

Peacock’s May 2024 lineup offers a diverse range of content to cater to various tastes. From drama series to sports and films, Peacock has something for everyone. With its exclusive original content, sports events, and library films, Peacock is sure to be a summer destination for viewers.
