AMD has officially confirmed that the leaked prices for its upcoming Ryzen 9000 desktop processors, as reported by Best Buy, are accurate. These prices reflect a notable decrease compared to the previous generation, which is an unexpected move in today’s market. The new pricing structure includes the Ryzen 7 9700X, which will be available for $359, down $40 from the Ryzen 7 7700X. Similarly, the Ryzen 5 9600X will be priced at $279, a $20 reduction from its predecessor, the Ryzen 5 7600X. Both processors are set to launch on August 8.
