MSI’s latest offerings at the IFA trade show showcase a strong emphasis on integrating artificial intelligence into consumer PCs, continuing the trend of making AI a significant feature in high-end technology. Their new lineup features both cutting-edge updates to existing hardware and innovative new products. While some improvements are incremental, there are notable advancements in both desktop and laptop categories that highlight MSI’s commitment to enhancing user experience through AI.

One standout product is the MSI MEG Vision X AI desktop PC. This machine distinguishes itself with a substantial vertical touchscreen that occupies the front of the case. The screen isn’t just for show; it’s designed to function as a “Human Machine Interface,” giving users access to MSI’s proprietary AI Engine. This feature includes a chatbot capable of searching local documents, summarizing content, and providing system performance information.

The AI-enhanced display also supports traditional desktop functions such as adjusting RGB lighting and monitoring system temperature. Despite its intriguing features, detailed specifications and pricing remain undisclosed, with the release expected later in the year.

Another noteworthy item is the MSI MEG 31URX OLED monitor, which features a unique AI-driven enhancement called AI Sky Sight. This feature allows the 32-inch OLED monitor to sync the colors displayed on-screen with the rear-mounted LED light bar, creating an immersive backlighting effect. While the use of AI in this context might seem more marketing-driven than groundbreaking, it adds a visually appealing touch to the monitor. Details regarding availability and pricing are still pending.

MSI is also updating its laptop lineup, with the Summit, Prestige, Stealth, and Creator models all receiving AI-related enhancements. The Summit 13 and Summit A16 models are particularly notable. The Summit A16 offers a large 16-inch display with a high 165Hz refresh rate and a choice of AMD Ryzen 9 processors.

It includes a variety of ports and features a sleek design in an “Ink Black” color. The smaller Summit 13, on the other hand, comes with an Intel Core Ultra 7 processor and a 13.3-inch screen, making it a more portable option.

The MSI Stealth A16 is another highlight, known for its premium, thin design that incorporates high-performance components like the AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 processor and Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 graphics. It features a 16-inch 4K Mini-LED display with 120Hz refresh rate options and an additional 1440p OLED choice.

The Stealth A16 boasts a slim profile, a large battery for extended use, and quick charging capabilities. Despite its powerful specs, it is limited to 32GB of memory and has only one USB-C port, which may be seen as drawback for some users.
