Samsung is preparing to release the Galaxy S25 Slim later this year, designed as a more compact, lightweight version of its flagship series. Positioned as a direct competitor to Apple’s upcoming iPhone 17 Air, the S25 Slim won’t be part of the initial Galaxy S25 launch event, which is expected in just two weeks. However, leaks have already begun to surface, and the device has made its first appearance on Geekbench, providing a sneak peek into its internals.
The Galaxy S25 Slim is identified on Geekbench with the model number “SM-S937U,” which suggests this particular variant is the US-unlocked version. The listing reveals that the device will feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy processor, the same chipset used in high-end Android devices. Paired with 12 GB of RAM, this configuration aligns with rumors about the Galaxy S25 series’ hardware and is expected to deliver robust performance, particularly for multitasking and gaming.
However, the performance scores from the Geekbench test don’t quite match the expectations set by the Snapdragon 8 Elite’s capabilities.
