Xiaomi is preparing to launch its latest camera-focused flagship, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra, at MWC 2025. This premium smartphone, powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, is designed to enhance mobile photography.
A new leak has emerged just a week before the official event, highlighting a revamped camera kit that will accompany this Leica-branded device. Additionally, details about an exclusive pre-order bundle deal have surfaced, adding to the excitement for potential buyers.
Revamped Camera Kit: Photography Kit Legend Edition
The leak, coming from Sudhanshu Ambhore, reveals that the new camera accessory will be called the “Photography Kit Legend Edition.” The leaked renders suggest that this version will include additional buttons, though their exact functionality remains unknown.

Compared to previous camera kits, this upgraded version is expected to enhance usability for photography enthusiasts. Xiaomi has yet to confirm these details, but if accurate, this kit could further cement the Xiaomi 15 Ultra as a go-to smartphone for professional-grade photography.
According to the leak, Xiaomi will bundle the Xiaomi 15 Ultra with the Xiaomi Watch S4 as part of its pre-order deal. The Xiaomi Watch S4 is a premium yet affordable smartwatch, designed as Xiaomi’s competitor to the Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 (priced at $169.99 on Amazon). This pre-order package could attract customers looking for an all-in-one flagship experience, combining a high-end smartphone with a capable smartwatch.
Global Launch and Missing Pro Variant
Alongside the Xiaomi 15 Ultra, the standard Xiaomi 15 will also be making its global debut. However, just like its predecessor lineup, the Pro variant appears to remain exclusive to China. Xiaomi has not confirmed whether this strategy will change in the future, but for now, international buyers will have to settle for the Ultra or the standard model.
One notable downside of the global Xiaomi 15 is a reported battery downgrade. The global version is expected to feature a 5,240 mAh battery instead of the 5,400 mAh capacity found in the Chinese variant.
It remains unclear if the charging speeds—90W wired and 50W wireless—will stay the same or be adjusted for the global release. With these trade-offs, Xiaomi’s decision to tweak the global model could affect buyers’ preferences when choosing between the standard Xiaomi 15 and the Ultra variant.
