Xbox Game Pass continues to expand its library with an exciting selection of new titles for subscribers in April. From whimsical adventures inspired by southern folklore to epic crime sagas, Game Pass users can explore a wide range of diverse genres.

The service, priced at $20 per month for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, offers access to hundreds of games across various platforms, including Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One, PC, and mobile devices. Subscriptions also unlock additional benefits such as online multiplayer and exclusive discounts.

One of the standout titles arriving on Game Pass is South of Midnight, an enchanting adventure set in a mythical version of the Deep South. Players control Hazel, a character whose life is upended when a devastating hurricane sweeps away her home and mother. Alongside a giant talking catfish, players will journey through a vibrant world filled with magic, mythical creatures, and perilous encounters, including battles with giant alligators, as they attempt to restore what was lost in this magical adventure.

Atmospheric Exploration, Dark Action, and Humorous Chaos: New Xbox Game Pass Additions

Blue Prince, an atmospheric exploration game, takes players on a journey through a mysterious and constantly shifting manor. As the heir to the manor, you are assigned the task of uncovering the secrets hidden within its 45 changing rooms. Every choice you make affects the course of your adventure, ensuring a different experience with each playthrough. Your ultimate goal is to discover room 46, but the manor’s unpredictable nature may leave you wandering through its haunted, ever-evolving halls.

Game Pass is also adding two beloved action-packed games. Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls – Ultimate Evil Edition brings players into the dark, demon-filled world where they must save humanity while gathering powerful loot and completing various quests. For those who prefer a more humorous take on action, Borderlands 3 Ultimate Edition is available, allowing players to team up as one of four new vault hunters to fight off the Children of the Vault and explore the universe’s absurd and chaotic world.

Co-Op Puzzles, Survival Horror, Tactical Strategy, and Epic Adventures: New Xbox Game Pass Titles

For fans of co-op gameplay, All You Need Is Help offers a fun and quirky puzzle experience with fluffy cube-shaped creatures. Players can work together, whether online or in couch co-op mode, to solve puzzles. Meanwhile, survival horror fans can experience Still Wakes the Deep, a tense tale set on an isolated oil rig in the North Sea, where players must survive an unknown terror lurking within. The developers of Dear Esther and Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs bring their atmospheric horror to this chilling title.

Fans of turn-based tactics will appreciate Wargroove 2, a game inspired by Fire Emblem, where you lead armies across land, sea, and sky to thwart an impending crisis in the kingdom of Aurania. Meanwhile, Commandos: Origins lets players take on secret missions during World War II, utilizing stealth and strategy to change the course of history. Two highly anticipated games will also be available soon: Hunt Showdown 1896, launching on April 15, invites players into a monster-filled world of ruthless hunters, while Grand Theft Auto 5 will also be available starting April 15, offering an open-world crime adventure with updated graphics for PC players.

As Microsoft adds new titles to the Game Pass library, several games will be leaving the service on April 15. Subscribers are encouraged to complete their campaigns or side quests before these titles are removed, as they will no longer be available through Game Pass. This regular cycle of new additions and removals ensures that Game Pass users always have fresh content to enjoy while also keeping the service dynamic and exciting.
