Although, for the time being, the app still opens with the original For You feed, which showcases a diverse range of posts from various users. Users can seamlessly switch to the Following feed by going to the home icon or the Threads logo.
The algorithmic For You tab, akin to the old Twitter app, aims to increase user engagement by presenting a curated mix of posts. However, the widespread annoyance this feature has caused among users has led a significant number of them to flock to X, the social media platform that has undergone a transformative overhaul under Elon Musk’s ownership.
