China’s TCL reveals World’s Largest and Most Affordable MicroLED TV

China's TCL reveals World's Largest and Most Affordable MicroLED TV.

TCL, a Chinese electronics company, has taken the world by storm with the revealing of its latest flagship product, the X11H Max, a massive 163-inch microLED TV that is set to revolutionize the entertainment industry. This behemoth of a display boasts an array of impressive features, making it the most affordable microLED TV on the market, priced at a whopping $111,300 (799,999 yuan).

One of the most striking features of the X11H Max is its enormous size, standing at an impressive 80 inches tall and 200cm in height, equivalent to a giant Darth Vader. To put that in perspective, the screen is roughly the same height as a standing person. Its diagonal size of 163 inches is even larger than many cinemas, making it the ultimate home entertainment experience.

The TV’s peak brightness is another significant selling point, reaching an astonishing 10,000 nits, which is far beyond the capabilities of most HDR formats. This level of brightness is capable of pushing the boundaries of visual representation, making it an ideal choice for those who want to experience cinematic-level visuals in the comfort of their own homes.

In addition to its impressive size and brightness, the X11H Max also features a 6.2.2-channel sound system out of the box, which can reportedly be upgraded to a 7.1.4-channel solution. The seamless integration of the audio system with the TV’s visuals ensures an immersive experience like no other.

TCL’s commitment to innovation is further evident in the display’s response time, which is an incredibly fast 0.03 milliseconds. This level of response time is unmatched by most TVs on the market, including LG’s OLED models, which are claimed to have a response time of 1 millisecond.

The X11H Max’s microLED technology produces perfect blacks, just like OLED displays, as each pixel is self-illuminating and does not require a backlight. This technology has real-world implications, allowing the TV to reach incredibly high brightness levels without sacrificing color accuracy, making it an ideal choice for those who want to enjoy a cinematic experience in the comfort of their own homes.

In comparison to its competitors, Samsung’s 2022 110-inch model still costs a whopping $150,000, while LG’s 136-inch Magnit microLED sells for a reported $299,999. The X11H Max is undoubtedly the most affordable microLED TV on the market, making it an attractive option for those with deep pockets.

Although the X11H Max is currently a China-only product, TCL plans to make its mark on the global market soon. With its reputation for producing innovative and cutting-edge products, the X11H Max is no exception. Whether you’re a film enthusiast, a gamer, or simply someone who wants the ultimate home entertainment experience, the X11H Max is an option worth considering.
