BMW’s 2025 lineup for the G20/21 3 Series, including the M3 range, introduces several significant updates. Alongside these changes, BMW has also refreshed the X1 and X2 models with Parking Assistant Professional and improved the XM with new paint colors, alloy wheels, and leather upholstery.
Notably, the 2025 3 Series now incorporates 48V mild hybrid technology in the 330i and M340i versions. The M3 lineup is enhanced with redesigned headlights, new forged alloy wheel options, upgraded cockpit trim, improved equipment, and the latest BMW Operating System 8.5. Production of the US-spec M3 sedan is set to commence at BMW’s Munich plant in July 2024.
The 2024 and 2025 BMW M3 models come with a range of updates and enhancements that are sure to excite enthusiasts. The starting prices are set at $76,000 for the base M3, $80,200 for the M3 Competition, and $85,300 for the M3 Competition with M xDrive.
The only price increase of $1,000 applies to the M3 Competition xDrive. Powering these vehicles is the robust S58 inline-six twin-turbo engine, available in three performance levels: 473 hp with a six-speed manual transmission in the standard M3, 503 hp paired with an 8-speed M Steptronic transmission in the rear-wheel-drive Competition model.
The M3 Competition xDrive can sprint from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.4 seconds and reach a top speed of either 155 mph or 180 mph with the optional M Driver’s Package.
