Porsche has revealed the 2025 911 Carrera GTS as its first electrified model, incorporating a ‘T-hybrid’ system. This addition expands Porsche’s electrified lineup, which already includes the high-performance plug-in hybrid Cayenne and Panamera, the Taycan EV series, and the new zero-emissions Macan compact luxury crossover SUV.
The new Macan EV, which shares its Premium Platform Electric (PPE) architecture with the Audi Q6 e-tron and A6 e-tron, comes in two versions: the Macan 4 with up to 402 hp and the Macan Turbo with up to 630 hp and 833 lb-ft of torque.
The Macan Turbo accelerates to 62 mph in 3.3 seconds, with a top speed of 162 mph, competing with the Hyundai Ioniq 5 N and Tesla Model Y Performance.

Rumors are swirling about the potential introduction of an even more potent Macan Turbo S, thanks to speculation from digital creators like those at AutoYa info channel on YouTube.
Anticipated to debut in either 2025 or 2026, it’s uncertain whether this model will feature the Taycan Turbo S’s impressive 938 hp powertrain due to the differing architectures PPE for the Macan and J1 for the Taycan.
The latest Macan lineup includes both the new electric version and the existing gasoline-powered model, with prices ranging from $62,900 to $89,000 for the internal combustion engine variants and from $78,800 to $105,300 for the electric versions.
