At the IFA technology event in Berlin, Acer introduced the Nitro XV240 F6, which could be the world’s first consumer monitor with a full 600Hz refresh rate. Set to release in early 2025, this monitor will allow users to play video games at an extraordinary 600 frames per second (FPS), ensuring ultra-smooth gameplay without dropping any frames. This product is aimed at gaming enthusiasts who require top-tier performance in their gaming setup.

The Nitro XV240 F6 comes with a 24.1-inch display that uses a TN (Twisted Nematic) panel, boasting a resolution of 1920×1080. It offers a fast 0.1ms Gray-to-Gray (GtG) response time, a 1000:1 contrast ratio, and a brightness level of 400 nits. The monitor also supports 95 percent of the DCI-P3 color gamut, providing rich and accurate color reproduction that enhances the gaming experience.

Designed specifically for high-performance gaming, the Nitro XV240 F6 supports adaptive synchronization for variable refresh rates (VRR) and is certified for AMD FreeSync Premium technology.

It includes one DisplayPort 1.4 input, which supports the full 600Hz refresh rate, and two HDMI 2.0 inputs, which are limited to a maximum of 240Hz. These connectivity options cater to competitive gamers who seek the highest refresh rates for smoother gameplay.

The Acer Nitro XV240 F6 gaming monitor is scheduled to launch in the first quarter of 2025 and will be priced at $599.99. With its ultra-high refresh rate and advanced features, it is poised to become a top choice for serious gamers looking for peak performance in their gaming displays.
